The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB)Â hosted an Information Sharing Workshop with the Namibian Police Force (NAMPOL)Â on 23 February 2026 in Windhoek, aimed at strengthening collaboration between the property regulator and law enforcement.
The workshop provided a platform for both institutions to discuss regulatory compliance, property-related offences, and mechanisms for improved information sharing. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in addressing issues such as fraud, illegal property transactions, and other unlawful activities within the real estate sector.
This engagement forms part of NEAB’s ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, accountability, and consumer protection in Namibia’s property industry, while also supporting the Board’s transition to the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) under the Property Practitioners Act 11 of 2024.
Through continued collaboration with key stakeholders such as NAMPOL, NEAB remains committed to promoting professional standards, regulatory compliance, and integrity within the real estate profession.
