NEAB Hosts Second Induction Training Workshop for 2026!

The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) hosted its second Induction Training Workshop for 2026 on Friday, 08 May 2026. The workshop brought together candidates, regulators and key industry stakeholders to support the professional development of new entrants into Namibia’s real estate sector.
The event was opened with welcoming remarks by Mr. Festus Unengu, followed by a keynote address from the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy. The Ministry highlighted the importance of a professional and well-regulated property sector in promoting public trust and economic development.
The workshop featured presentations from several key stakeholders, each contributing valuable insights relevant to the work of estate agents. Participating institutions included the Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA), the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC), First National Bank (FNB), the City of Windhoek (COW) and the Public Accountants’ and Auditors Board (PAAB).
NEAB also delivered a presentation led by Mr. Festus Unengu, focusing on the Board’s mandate, regulatory expectations and the professional conduct required of estate agents in Namibia.
The workshop concluded with closing remarks and appreciation to all stakeholders and participants. NEAB remains committed to strengthening professionalism, compliance and ethical conduct in the real estate industry.
