The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) is proud to announce its successful participation in the Annual Ongwediva Trade Fair (OATF), held from 22 to 30 August 2025. The event brought together thousands of visitors, industry professionals, and businesses from across Namibia, creating an excellent platform for NEAB to connect with stakeholders and the public.

Showcasing Our Commitment to Excellence

This year, NEAB’s presence at the OATF focused on creating awareness around the Property Practitioners Act No.11 of 2024, our mandate, services, and initiatives aimed at strengthening professionalism and compliance within the real estate industry. Our exhibition stand attracted hundreds of visitors, including aspiring estate agents, property investors, and members of the public seeking guidance on real estate regulations and processes.

Visitors had the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the Property Practioners Act No.11 of 2024 and how it will transform the real estate regulatory industry in Namibia

  • Learn more about registration processes for estate agents and agencies

  • Gain insights into the upcoming fee adjustments and other regulatory updates

  • Receive guidance on compliance requirements and ethical standards

  • Ask questions directly to NEAB representatives and engage in meaningful discussions

Engaging with the Community

The NEAB team was delighted to interact with the public, address their queries, and share information on how we are working to protect both consumers and professionals within the real estate sector.

The trade fair also provided an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with other stakeholders, including government entities, financial institutions, and educational providers, ensuring collaborative growth in Namibia’s property sector.

A Successful Experience

Our participation at the OATF was not only a chance to showcase NEAB’s services but also a valuable learning experience. The insights gathered from engaging with attendees will help us enhance our service delivery and ensure that our policies and processes remain aligned with industry needs.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our stand, interacted with our team, and contributed to making our attendance a success. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more transparent, and more professional real estate industry in Namibia.
