TRAINING DETAILS
The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) in collaboration with Werder, Kauta and Hoveka (WKH) invites all members of the public to a comprehensive training workshop on key legal matters affecting property management. This training aims to equip members of the public with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage legal issues professionally and in compliance with the law.
Topics to be covered include:

Eviction: Understanding the legal process for eviction.

Commission: When and how commission is payable in real estate transactions.

Rates and Taxes: Legal responsibilities for payment under common law.
-
Deposit Money: Where deposits should be kept and permissible deductions.
-
Maintenance and Upkeep of Rental Property: Responsibilities of landlords and tenants under common law.

Changing Locks & Cutting Electricity: Legal considerations when rent is outstanding and the lessor’s rights regarding the lessee’s movable goods to secure payment.
