The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB), in collaboration with Werder, Kauta, and Hoveka (WKH), invites all members of the public to participate in a comprehensive training workshop on essential legal issues impacting property management. The goal is to provide valuable insights and equip attendees with the necessary knowledge to handle property-related legal matters professionally and in line with the law.

Topics Include:

• Eviction: Legal process and rights involved in eviction.

• Commission: Rules around when and how commission is payable.

• Rates and Taxes: Responsibilities for payment under common law.

• Deposit Money: Proper handling and permissible deductions.

• Maintenance of Rental Property: Legal obligations of landlords and tenants.

• Changing Locks & Cutting Electricity: Legalities when rent is outstanding and the lessor's rights over the lessee’s movable goods.
