    Preparing for Future Success!! The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) successfully hosted its 4th Induction Training Workshop on Friday, 10 October 2025, in Windhoek. The workshop was held for candidates who recently passed the Principles of Real Estate Examination, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey. The event commenced with opening remarks by Mr. Festus Unengu , Manager of NEAB, followed by welcoming remarks delivered by Ms. Liberty Ithete , Chairperson of the NEAB Education Committee. A keynote address was presented by Ms. Celeste Booysen , from the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy. Throughout the day, key stakeholders enriched the workshop with presentations aimed at equipping the inductees with practical knowledge for the industry. Speakers included: Mr. Marvelous Ngarizemo from the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) Ms. Rolandi van Wyk from First National Bank (FNB) Ms. Sorty Ndjembo from Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) Mr. Alfred Haipare from the City of Windhoek (COW) Ms. Leilani Riddles from the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB) Mr. Festus Unengu, who also delivered the closing remarks The workshop concluded with a lunch and networking session, offering candidates a chance to connect with professionals and peers in the real estate sector.     NEAB CALL FOR TRAINERS The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) invites qualified training providers and experienced facilitators to register/certify with NEAB to deliver preparatory classes for candidates scheduled to write the Principles of Real Estate examination. ​ This examination is prescribed in terms of Government Notice R1409 of July 1983, promulgated in terms of the Estate Agents Act 112 of 1976. ​ WHAT WE EXPECT:   Demonstrable subject-matter expertise and facilitation experience. Structured course outline aligned to the Estate Agents Act 112 of 1976. Clear quality-assurance and assessment approach (notes, mock tests, learner support). Compliance with NEAB standards and relevant legal requirements. ​​ HOW TO APPLY AND TIMING:   Apply: Submit your application by completing the form below. Include your profile, facilitators’ CVs, proposed course outline & schedule, and delivery mode (in-person/online).   Timing: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

  • Imminent Gazetting of Adjusted Fees & Effective Implementation Date!

    Dear Valued Stakeholders,   The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) would like to inform all candidates, estate agents, and industry stakeholders that the revised fee structure, previously communicated earlier this year, is now nearing final approval and will soon be officially gazetted.   Upon gazetting, the new fees will take effect from the date specified in the Government Gazette. All transactions processed on or after this effective date will be subject to the updated fee schedule.   Summary of Adjusted Fees: Board levy from NAD 1200 to NAD 1900 Agents and Agency fees from NAD 500 to NAD 790 Identity cards from NAD 100 to NAD 160 Fidelity Fund levy from NAD 300 to NAD 480 Change levy from NAD 300 to NAD 480 Late renewal levy from NAD 1000 to NAD 3000 Late Audit submission levy from NAD 1000 to NAD 1580 Certificate reprint from NAD 100 to NAD 480 Induction training fee will remain at NAD 1000 Examination registration fee from NAD 2200 to NAD 3480   Registrations and renewals completed prior to the gazette date will be processed under the current fee structure. Submissions made on or after the effective date will automatically reflect the revised fees.   Background   The last fee adjustment was implemented in 2015. Since then, NEAB has consistently invested in service enhancements, system upgrades, and initiatives aimed at strengthening regulatory standards. To sustain these improvements and align Namibia’s fee structure with regional norms, the adjustments have become necessary.   Next Steps   The official gazette date will be announced via the NEAB website, email notifications, and social media platforms. A comprehensive breakdown of the revised fees will be published upon gazetting. Dear Candidate, We have received reports of a scammer falsely contacting examination candidates, claiming to assist with writing exams on their behalf in exchange for money. 📌 The scammer is identified as: Name:  Deka Booteye Mobile Number:  081 310 7487 ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is illegal and a criminal offence . A case has been opened, and legal action will be taken against the scammer and any individuals found to be participating in or supporting this activity. All candidates are to write their own examination on Saturday, 28 June 2025. No third party is allowed to write on your behalf under any circumstances.     NEAB Courtesy Visit!! The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) continued its commitment to fostering stakeholder relations and strengthening regulatory collaboration through a courtesy visit to the Lüderitz Town Council from 16–17 June 2025. The NEAB delegation was led by the Board’s Manager, Mr. Festus Unengu, accompanied by esteemed Board Members Ms. Liberty Mupopiwa and Mr. Dickson Swanepoel. The Lüderitz Town Council delegation was led by Deputy Mayor Hon. Heita. The two-day engagement served as a valuable platform to introduce NEAB’s mandate to the Council and explore areas of mutual interest and collaboration. Discussions focused on the importance of upholding ethical standards in the real estate sector, compliance with national regulations, and the potential for capacity-building initiatives that can benefit both the town’s administration and local estate agents. The Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) is proud to reflect on the success of its recent Information Sharing Workshop held on Wednesday, 11 June 2025, at the Tamariskia Community Hall in Swakopmund. The event, hosted in collaboration with the Namibian Police (NAMPOL), brought together members of the public, property stakeholders, and regulatory representatives for an engaging and informative afternoon. Facilitated by NEAB Manager Mr. Festus Unengu and supported by board members Ms. Liberty Mupopiwa and Mr. Dickson Swanepoel, the workshop focused on promoting transparency, public education, and awareness in the real estate sector.
